REBECCA   MORRIS  1787
This sampler is probably English, originally worked on a fine glazed linen ground with silk flosses and human hair. A four-sided border of honeysuckle and carnation surrounds a pious verse. The lower third consists of a naive scene, where humans and animals are larger than life.
