LOG CABIN |

This sampler depicts a large log cabin
flanked by two smaller log outbuildings with fences, a sun, moon,
and birds. Motifs were gathered from late 18th and early 19th
century American samplers. The alphabet is designed after Roman-style
alphabets commonly used on Quaker samplers from both England
and America. Browns, greens, golds, rose, white (14 shades).
